Taranaki Futures leads a consortia which manages the delivery of Māori and Pasifika Trades Training in the region. MPTT provides fees-free training for Māori and Pasifika students (aged 16-40) for selected courses at WITT.

Transport and accommodation

Transport and Accommodation are the responsibility of whānau and families. All MPTT students are fully enrolled WITT students who therefore have access to WITT student support services including transport and accommodation. Services on Connector Bus and public Citylink bus services are free for WITT students.

1. Can I apply even if I will be turning 40 years old during the course? Yes

2. How many scholarships are available? Limited scholarship places are available.

3. Do I have to be Māori or Pasifika living in Taranaki? Yes. Other regions have their own courses.

4. How will I learn English and Maths skills? Literacy and Numeracy are included in the course.
